Protect Yourself & Your Inbox

Inbox Alias is not just another temporary or anonymous email program. Although Inbox Alias follows the same principals, it actually forwards all emails through to your existing email account. This allows you to create multiple email aliases and check them all in the same location, the same way you do right now.
Inbox Alias also works as a spam filter, allowing you to stop and restart emails to an alias address at any time.

Outlook Tips - pressing Ctrl+Q to mark them read

It happens to all of us once or twice: we accidently mark all messages as read, rather than just one. Unfortunately there isn't an 'undo' command. The modified date field is not affected either, so it’s mostly impossible to know which messages were marked read. You can sort by the icon column and mark all opened (but not forwarded or replied) messages as unread. You'll end up with a lot of messages you're done with marked unread but it's as easy as pressing Ctrl+Q to mark them read.
If you accidently mark messages read very often, try using Ctrl+Q instead of the mouse to mark messages read. Or get in the habit of marking them completed instead. This changes the modified date and sets the completed flag, making it easy to identify the items you’re done working with.

Free Outlook addins

CodeTwo PST Ghostbuster - Duplicate PST remover

Free tool for removing duplicated PST files (ghost files) from Outlook.
CodeTwo PST Ghostbuster is a free tool for removing duplicated PST files (ghost files) from Outlook.
In some cases the PST file can appear twice in Outlook. Its contents are then shown twice on the folder list (Fig.1) and in other folder views (Fig.2), which can make work much harder.
When trying to delete the duplicated PST file from the profile, a message: "There was an error. Object was not found" appears (Fig.3) and the only way to remove it is to create a new Outlook profile. In many cases this is unacceptable due to the settings, that may be lost: email accounts, signatures, user-defined views and forms.
If the Close button from the PST file context menu is disabled, PST Ghostbuster will not be able to remove the PST file from the profile. In that case, please read this solution. Thanks to CodeTwo PST Ghostbuster, the duplicated PST file can be easily fixed and removed from the profile.

Email --> Zimbra Desktop gives Yahoo Mail offline access

About Zimbra Zimbra, a Yahoo! company, is the leader in open source, next-generation messaging and collaboration software. We built Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) with the belief existing email and calendaring solutions are broken- the result is an innovative experience for end-users and system administrators.
ZCS integrates your entire organization. We emphasize compatibility with today’s diverse desktop and application environments. This means, for instance, desktop users in Outlook can share their calendar with peers who use Apple iCal or Zimbra Desktop on Linux.
ZCS streamlines your workflow and saves time. Our browser-based AJAX client delivers a richer experience with a message conversation view and visual search builder that makes multi-gigabyte inboxes easier to use. We also integrate 3rd party applications as “mash-ups” via web services so you can view CRM data, maps, or anything else without leaving the context of a message.
ZCS uses open technology. The Zimbra Server is built with open technology and runs on Linux and Mac OS X; think of it as your open source Exchange alternative. The Open Source Edition is free, we also offer a Network Edition with Zimbra support.
