urlclassifier3.sqlite woes on Firefox 3
The urlclassifier2.sqlite file contains information on known phishing sites that is used to warn you should you visit one. The information is downloaded by default from a Google database once a day. This functionality can be modified or turned off in “Tools → Options → Security
Firefox 3 contacts Google at each startup to get an updated list of known phishing websites and updates the same in the urlclassifier3.sqlite file. Agreed this is what makes our browser safe and secure but why is it bloating up in size? Are the phishing sites on the web increasing as fast as the size of this folder? Naah! Apparently, there’s a known bug in FF specific to this urlclassifier file which says that it has a lot of vacuum/blank space within and there ought to be a mechanism to automatically compress it effectively.Whatever might be the cause, its rapid size increase is somewhat disconcerting. Added to it is the fact that upon each startup, FF contacts the Google servers to get an updated list, which might be a drain on the CPU resources and in turn the notebook batteries (if you’re using one i.e.). There have been discussions about it over at the Mozillazine Forums in this thread and this thread and there seem to be a lot of people disconcerted by it.
The Solution? Well, the knowledge bas article suggested turning off the Phishing options in FF, which would mean unchecking of the following options under Tools>Options>Security:

3G Auction Begins : BSNL Launches 3G Service in Pune
The govt. is all set to start the 3G e-auction (expected to fetch $10bn) today and as per the schedule, potential service providers will have to submit their technical and financial bids by Sep 22. Those who qualify will need to make a presentation before the DoT Sep 24 - the date when the technical bids will also open [ET]
Both state run MTNL and BSNL have already been granted the spectrum and BSNL has gone ahead and launched it’s 3G service in Pune.
The current 3G service from BSNL allows subscribers video-call facility, free-of-charge to 2,000 customers (pilot project).
Reliance buys majority stake in Willow TV
Reliance ADAG has bought 75% stake in US based Willow TV to expand it’s presence in US. The acquisition amount is undisclosed, but Reliance will spend $60 million to $70 million in the next few yearsWillow TV has 1 million registered users and is world’s largest live streaming video site for cricket - the monetization model is based on subscription.

Error message when you try to open or save an e-mail attachment in Outlook: "Cannot create file"
Cannot create file: file name. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in and click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder.
CAUSE
This issue may occur when the Temporary Internet Files folder is stored on a server on which you do not have sufficient permissions.
RESOLUTION
Outlook 2003
If you are using Outlook 2003, follow these steps:
1. Click My Computer, and then double-click drive C.
2. On the File menu, click New, and then click Folder.
3. Name the folder temp0.
4. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
5. Locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security\
6. In the right pane, double-click OutlookSecureTempFolder.
7. In Value Data field, type C:\temp0\ and then click OK.
8. Exit Registry Editor.
9. Restart the computer.
