Make CHECKBOX selections in Windows Vista

Make CHECKBOX selections in Windows Vista

IN Windows, one can use the multiple selection option by holding (Ctrl) and clicking the required items. As an effective alternative, you can turn on the checkbox selection option which would display a checkbox next to an icon or a folder each time you hover your mouse cursor over it. To do so follow the steps below:

1. Double click My Computer and click Organize

2. Select the Folder and Search Options

3. Click the View tab and select the ‘Use Checkboxes to select items’ checkbox. Click OK to save the changes.
