Resolution:On device, go to Options>Service Books>Desktop[CMIME], then press wheel and select "Delete."On BES, resend the service books to the user.Notes:The issue first occured when the user tried manual synch by connecting the device to his desktop. Although his contacts and calendar synched correctly, the side effect was the above issue, he couldn't send or reply to emails. We tried a number of approaches to fix it, as seen in the link above, finally, we deleted the service books and resent it. This seems to have fixed the issue.

Blackberry Error - Unable to send emails "Transaction error - bad format".
Issue:User cannot send email messages from the unit. Message goes out, but after a second, a red X appears and message status reads: "Transaction error - bad format". The user receives incoming messages, however, he can't reply to them. While he can select "Reply" option, once he types in the message, there is no "Send" option.
