The Fastback option allowing caching of the last visited pages is very useful for backtracking fast but however occupies a lot of memory if you do the following manipulation.

1) Find the channel browser.sessionhistory.max_total_viewers
2) Set the value "0"

1) Create Channel browser.cache.memory.capacity
2) Set the value "0"

Vista Error -No Logon Server Available While Logging

While booting VISTA I got an error: No Logon Server Available

Error:-There are currently no logon server available

This generally happens, if you are out of office and your password got locked or changed. And you’re trying to logon with new password. Because you are out of office and you don’t have the office network available and new password always needs authentication from the server before it get stored to your local profile.

Solution:Log on to the machine locally (Connect to your office VPN, if you are not in the office)

Open command prompt and type Net Time file://servname/ (Your Server Name - Domain Server or DNS Server)

AAfter the command completed successfully, ALT + CTRL+Delete and choose switch user and you will be able to login with the new password now

GMAIL - In-box preview makes Gmail's loading less painful

Gmail has a new feature in its labs section aimed at people with bad connections who still want to use the fancypants JavaScript-filled "new" version of the popular Web mail service. It shows a quick preview of the latest 10 messages while Gmail's loading bar makes its slow march toward completion.
You can't actually read these messages, but you can quickly see if you have new ones. Users on a fast connection will only see the preview for a mere second or two before the in-box opens up. But for those on the very thread of a cellular data line, or on some chuggy dial-up, Google is pitching this as a simple way to see if those latest messages are worth the loading wait.
While relatively useless to users with fast connections, this is still a nice alternative to switching over to the HTML version of Gmail, which survives for the sake of compatibility on older machines and browsers. The switch over to that version forgoes many niceties such as no page refreshing, and the use of Gmail labs features.

Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers

This issue occurs because of a difference in design between Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). Specifically, in Windows XP SP2, the BROADCAST flag in DHCP discovery packets is set to 0 (disabled). In Windows Vista, the BROADCAST flag in DHCP discovery packets is not disabled. Network Acess Isssue - Insufficeint memory for this command

For a while now you haven't been able to access your erver and network drives from your PC. Everything was working smoothly till windows displayed the warning "Insufficient memory for this command"
Solution: Oen 'Run' in the Start menu, enter Regedit and click 'Ok'. Now navigate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTYEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
LanmanServer\Parameters'. Now Look for the 'IRPStackSize' D-WORD value in the right part of the window. Double click to open it. If the value doesn't exist, create it with 'Edit New DWORD value'.

Be careful in upper and lower cases in names. Change the base to 'Decimal' in the dialog box and enter '15' as the value. Now close the registry and restart the PC. You will now able to access the server and network drives. If the problem persists, you can increase the value further up to a mzimum of '50'.
