Accidentally deleted Unread Mail folder
Right click on the Search folders folder and recreate it. 
After creating the folder drag and drop 'unread folder' in favorites.

For working out problems with corrupted or lost pst files you can use repair file pst. It allow to demonstrate the results of recovering pst. Utility doesn't modify pst files after repairing. Tool is easy to use and has simply interface for any user.
