The error message then appeared every time you tried to boot Windows Vista based system. The message did not allow the system to boot, resulting in inaccessibility of the files saved in the hard drive.
Resolution:
To isolate the above error message and to access data, you need to follow the below steps:
Method1:
- Perform 'Startup Repair' in the 'System Recovery Options'. It will automatically repair any errors.
Method2:
If Method1 fails then:
- Type the below commands in the 'System Recovery Options' ‘Command Prompt’:
- bootrec.exe /fixboot
- bootrec.exe /fixmb
Restart the System. It should boot now.
