SRTSPL.SYS - Blue Screen of Dump With Stop 0x0000007E with SRTSPL.SYS
Start the Window System in Safe Mode, Click à Start à Run à type “msconfig”
Click Services à and uncheck ‘Symantec Endpoint Protection’ as shown below
Restart the system in normal mode and uninstall “Symantec Endpoint Protection” and reinstall it again after restart.

GMAIL - In-box preview makes Gmail's loading less painful
Gmail has a new feature in its labs section aimed at people with bad connections who still want to use the fancypants JavaScript-filled "new" version of the popular Web mail service. It shows a quick preview of the latest 10 messages while Gmail's loading bar makes its slow march toward completion.You can't actually read these messages, but you can quickly see if you have new ones. Users on a fast connection will only see the preview for a mere second or two before the in-box opens up. But for those on the very thread of a cellular data line, or on some chuggy dial-up, Google is pitching this as a simple way to see if those latest messages are worth the loading wait.
While relatively useless to users with fast connections, this is still a nice alternative to switching over to the HTML version of Gmail, which survives for the sake of compatibility on older machines and browsers. The switch over to that version forgoes many niceties such as no page refreshing, and the use of Gmail labs features.

Vista Fast Shutdown
Open Regedit (WINDOWS KEY + R on your keyboard, or by clicking Start and typing on the search bar "regedit" without quotes. Hit EnterNavigate to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l] On the right panel look for the "WaitToKillServiceTimeout" string and change it value to 1000 by right clicking the string and selecting Modify...Default Value WaitToKillServiceTimeout=20000Modified value WaitToKillServiceTimeout=5000Modified value WaitToKillServiceTimeout=1000 (extreme, use it at your own risk)I found 3000 worked nicely but try the 5000 first. 3000 does sometimes leave some programs lagging which then need a further key click.

This issue occurs because of a difference in design between Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). Specifically, in Windows XP SP2, the BROADCAST flag in DHCP discovery packets is set to 0 (disabled). In Windows Vista, the BROADCAST flag in DHCP discovery packets is not disabled. Therefore, some routers and some non-Microsoft DHCP servers cannot process the DHCP discovery packets.

Network Acess Isssue - Insufficeint memory for this command
For a while now you haven't been able to access your erver and network drives from your PC. Everything was working smoothly till windows displayed the warning "Insufficient memory for this command"Solution: Oen 'Run' in the Start menu, enter Regedit and click 'Ok'. Now navigate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTYEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
LanmanServer\Parameters'. Now Look for the 'IRPStackSize' D-WORD value in the right part of the window. Double click to open it. If the value doesn't exist, create it with 'Edit New DWORD value'.
Be careful in upper and lower cases in names. Change the base to 'Decimal' in the dialog box and enter '15' as the value. Now close the registry and restart the PC. You will now able to access the server and network drives. If the problem persists, you can increase the value further up to a mzimum of '50'.
